New airline travel policies

So we've all heard of (in great detail) the various new restrictions on carry on items - the latest knee jerk reaction to a foiled terrorist plot. The way things are going, I wouldn't be surprised if, at some point in the future, we'd arrive at the airport, strip and change to airline issued orange jumpsuits, shackled to our seats with armed guards walking the aisles.

Yes folks, it's "Con Air", gone crazy.

the day is not far when one will need to get to an airport 24 hours before departure so each and every item of baggage may be minutely scrutinized... and one is assessed by a shrink/therapist as to wehther one is a potential threat or not...
and yes, no meals for those 24 hours, or on the flight, or allowed in baggage :)
